Research Assistant at EPK research group

The European Planning Cultures (EPK) research group at the Department of Spatial Planning at TU Dortmund University offers a position as Research Associate for a period of three years starting at the earliest opportunity. The duration of the contract will be appropriate to the qualification objective (doctorate). Remuneration is paid in accordancem with the collective bargaining regulations according to pay group 13 TV-L. This is a part-time position (75%).

THE RESEARCH GROUP
Teaching and research at EPK focus on:
• European planning systems / European spatial development policy, comparative research
• Planning acceleration
• Urban transformation and urban renewal

YOUR TASKS
• Further qualification in the form of a doctorate
• Participation in the preparation of new research proposals
• Collaboration on research projects and publications
• Involvement in teaching at the department (3 SWS)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• A completed academic university degree in planning, political science, or related fields of spatial sciences.
• In-depth knowledge in one of the following fields: European planning systems, urban transformation, comparative research on planning practices.
• Very good English skills
• Very good organizational and communication skills
